Sonic Marshmallows – concept at Basildon in Essex. To entice children, liven up the park and create more interaction these marshmallow sculptures create an acoustic experience with being able to hear each others whispers across the 60 m space.

Never wanted a piece of design more! Love love love these little kaleidoscopes that abstract shapes are made from letter shapes! Different ‘scopes for  each type of font (serif, sans etc). Amazing and so inspiring.

Parking bollards painted in the style of Playnobil heads in Rio de Janeiro. Made me smile!

‘Crack & Shine’ is a book from Fred Forsyth and Will Robson-Scott giving insight to the London Graffiti scene. Great visuals and really well designed.

Been reading a book recently called ‘White’ by Kenya Hara. His insight into ideas behind colour and it’s implications has been helping my Extended Major Project at University. This, and his other book called ‘Designing Design’ are a unique set amongst books discussing design. It’s refreshing to see how minimal design can be so effective – less is more!
